BROWN OUT SCHEDULED ON OCTOBER 3, 2009

"MANILA – Distribution utility Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said that it cannot determine until when rotating brownouts being implemented in wide part of Metro Manila will end.

A fire affected one of the four 300 MVA transformers in the sub-station in Taytay, Rizal Wednesday night triggering the tripping off of the other transformers and the 115-kiloVolt lines of the Meralco sub-sector areas.

It took firemen almost an hour to control the blaze.

Authorities also had to use firefighting chemicals and retardants since the transformer reportedly contained oil.

The fire was declared under control around 10:30 p.m.

The other transformer units available at the substation have also been cut off from the system because its control cables have been affected by the fire incident.

The affected transformer supplies power to 11 Meralco substations that service eastern Metro Manila.

Meralco officials said close to a million households are now suffering the three-hour rotating brownouts as a measure to mitigate a more massive, widespread power interruption caused by the transmission trouble at the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines' (NGCP) Dolores substation in Taytay, Rizal."

Korean, Korean, korean

First of all, thanks to all those comments i've been receiving in Korean and Chinese alphabet. However, I don't know how to read the language neither speak of it. So please, if know how to write it in english, might as well do it like that.

I read this controversy in Twitter about a korean user who says explosive comments about Filipino country. Well, I almost hated all Koreans, but then, they have lots of good stuff to like about. By the last week of November this year, our team at work will be having our Christmas party and we decided to have a KOREAN STREET FASHION theme. My Ideas are stolen!

I love Piolo and KC. But not them together.

I just watched the trailer of their upcoming ABS-CBN telenovela as my mother-in-law finished her lunch early today. There's this scene where a woman was putting out little toy pinoy jeepneys from a box. Her line to Piolo were, "Sigurado ka ba? Jeepney sa Paris?"

I almost fell in from my seat.

I can't believe this! That was my crazy idea on where I got my website back in 2005!

I have this crazy idea that if only a Sarao jeepney can go to Paris I might be able to afford staying there. Crazy right?

Well, initially this is jeepneysanewyork. But then I thought everybody wants to go to New York. So, I decided to go somewhere else. harharhar!

Well, I guess this website is not so popular and I'm not that intelehente anyway for them to steal my ideas. It just feels funny that there are other people who thinks and feels the same way as I do.

James Santos - Bing Marcelo Nuptials

The day is on the 22nd of August 2009. Every single person I knew and bumped to lately asked me the same old question: "Kamusta? Are you nervous or excited?"

If only I noticed this earlier that this question is just a repeat, I would've equipped myself with a very fruitful answer (I still don't know what to reply... hmmm). Actually, nervousness just sinks in lately.

I initially feel stressed and broke. Broke because majority of our savings throughout our single hood was spent for the preparation. Aside from the wedding, we are also eyeing to buy a new house. We both decided to live away from our parents. We practically agreed to make some big changes in our lives.

I plan ahead. While my soon-to-be-better half is preparing for the wedding, I am already planning on where to reside after the wedding. I expect to have gifts from my beloved friends and family that are huge in size since that is what we include in our bridal registry. We need some space for that.

I also feel excited! With everything…

I’m excited to see my friends and family dressed up in very nice formal attire for me.
I'm looking forward to the grandest party of my life. I don't really put up a grand party before. Whenever my grandparents plans a party for me I would ask them to just give me the money (so I'll splurge it on food and shopping). On my 18th birthday, I asked them to just buy me a queen-size brass bed. The only birthday I invited my friends to was my 7th 19th and 29th. The rest of it was celebrated over a nice dinner with my family in some fancy resto.
I’m excited for those who are excited for me.
I think my little Waldo is excited too. I have a little metallic brown bow tie made for him.

Now the next thing I need to be busy with is my wedding vow. I’ll keep you posted!
